The
Boyne Bridge carrys the Northern Motorway (M1) across the Boyne
River, approximately 3km west of Drogheda and some 45km north
of Dublin.
The
River Boyne is pproximately 150m wide and consists of two channels
separated by Yellow Island. The river is tidal at the crossing.
